Too small July 15, 2019
Reviewer: michael roth from Kansas City, MO United States
This bag does not work. It’s simply to small. To elaborate the length is good, the width is fine( though idk why it tappers at the end. I’m not sure what is gained by it tapering vs just having it be the same length the whole way through.) but the higher is far to short. It simply doesn’t even comfortably fit my gear, much less a weapon or two. I probably could get it all to fit but the bag would super tight and I really don’t think it would hold up well.
To be extra clear, what gear I’m talking about:
Mask with head cover
Spess jacket
Red dragon nickers
Gloves for rapier
Gloves for longsword
Shoes and socks
Baseball catcher shine and knee guards
That’s all.
I definitely couldn’t fit any extra back up gear or any weapon.

Good bag. Bag is good. July 10, 2019

Actually fits my kit without squeezing or stretching; feels really durable and reliable; rigid back makes pulling by the wheels work without dragging; backpack is easily wearable (although makes going through doors a pain, and if you go full-time backpack you probably want to take the rigid back out).

Lacks bells and whistles; most notably, only has one outer pocket, and it's pretty small; would have preferred either a larger one or more of them.

Overall, a good bag and a good solution to carrying our gear. Bonus(?): people read historical fencing on the bag (or mistake it for a cello case) and start conversations.

First impressions December 25, 2018

Overall it is a nice sturdy bag.  However the design of the hard support and rollers leave a bit to be desired.  The bag does not like to be upright.  It will roll in that position until it finds the floor.
