Trainer for Seidler's Sabre

Alongside the British light cavalry sword, the Model 1811 was used by Prussian hussars, dragoons, uhlans, horse artillery and by the militia cavalry Landwehr who had been raised in 1813 to fight against the French. The only type of Prussian cavalry not to make use of the Model 1811, or its British counterpart, were the kuirassiers, who retained their straight-bladed and brass-hilted pallasch.

4 of 5 Beautiful performance, beautiful looks. August 5, 2020

I was originally worried if the sabre would hold up or that it would be to floppy but I had no need to worry. It does have flex but only a tiny amount and it is durable. Balance is as it should be on a Sabre designed to be used from horseback. The downward strike or the strike for the leg of an opponent is rather powerful. Despite being a bare minimum in design the shiny black plastic and purple para-cord matched with the elegant curve also make it beautiful and simplistic.

I’m so happy to have this in my kit. Great in every way you’d expect. Great weight and authority in the cut. With a thin leather glove; this is a pleasure to swing and train with.

5 of 5 Amazing and Affordable Piece! March 4, 2020

I got a pair of these sabers a month ago, and every aspect of it has performed incredibly well! They are durable, supple, and cuts flow well all while being light enough to not need more than rapier gloves and a mask (I do recommend a jacket for fast sparring). Exceeds my expectations!
