Excellent!! (SB JKI)
Bought a pair of these in May of 2022 for our sword club and we have been using them just about every other weekend since then. Highly durable, well built and will stand up to heavy sparring. Just need a saya to be perfect!

Katana handles well with increased flexibility
This version of their katana is heads above the previous version which I also own. It is definitely more flexible making it safer for training and light sparring. It handles very well and generates "sword wind" easily. It looks and sounds great.

Slightly Dangerous, Great Historical Weapon
A couple of us from Boston have been playing with these for light drilling. I would, however, recommend that you opt for the new higher-flex version that's being developed if you're looking to do full contact sparring with anyone.
