The V2 has an updated blade, which is more nimble and flexible without being floppy, largely disregard this review, which is for the V1. I got mine from a friend, who now uses a Zen Warrior rapier.
The blade has almost no taper, distal or profile, to speak of, it's the same thickness and width the entire way down. In my example, the distal taper is actually uneven, the middle section is thicker than the base section. As such, the blade is super forward heavy, and the super forward heavy blade is balanced out by a super backwards heavy pommel, making the whole thing dead in the hand. The one good thing about this is the cup, it seems durable enough. The grip could be more comfortable.
Overall poor for $300. $200 gets you a Hanwei practical 37" rapier, $215 gets you a Castille economy, and $300 gets you a Kvetun cup hilt with shipping included.
