I bought a couple of deerhorn knives from Purpleheart in the past and have enjoyed using them. This is an interesting change up. I tried some disarming with these and it's a lot easier than the deerhorn knives. As the person using them, it's nice to not have to worry about cutting or stabbing yourself for certain loading positions of the knives. I don't practice any martial arts that use this weapon specifically, but as someone who practices Filipino martial arts, I have to say that I prefer having deerhorns as my weapon than the crescents. However, I do appreciate these knives and am having fun experimenting with them.
