Tournament Shortsword, Oakshott Type 16, Pear
This is my first sword and I couldn't be happier with the quality! I highly recommend this sword to anyone looking to get into any form of dueling/sparring/practice or simply to have it as décor!

First use review
The measurements are good, balance, but the handle index is really bad. It is hard to hold with a pinch grip and encourages a hammer grip removing a lot of finer control. I use hammer grip sometimes but would prefer better index for point control for thrusts around shields then shift to a hammer grip. It is a somewhat limiting feature when the alternative simply allows both options.
