Excellent product. I live in rural western USA, so shipping took a bit longer. Good price. Durable, too.

Formed well and feels good in the hand. I only wish there was a wrap color option on the page.

It took only 2 weeks to ship, which wasn't a problem. When it did come in I instantly went to spar with it. Using it felt amazing and loved how it looked.

The blade has a pronounced distal taper - meaning it's thicker at the hilt and thinner at the tip...which is flared out again, making it safe to thrust fairly hard. The balancing is great, being between 3-4 inches from the hilt. I do not have an exact weight, but I can say it is good deal heavier than a spadroon from historical military use, but I would say that makes it a more versatile training weapon...as it can easily and accurately be used as a light cavalry sword or a straight sabre, or a slightly heavy spadroon.
