Rappier, Basic Trainer, Right Hand

The Rappier Basic Trainer is a great addition to the armory! They are perfect for solo and two person drill work! Have not yet sparred with them.

Good budget trainer for Meyer rappier (which is distinct from rapier). The cross is a little bulky, but that is to be expected with the materials. Respectable balance and proportions. Should serve the purpose well.

I've been swinging this thing around for about a week, now, and I've got to say, it's well-made all around! The polypropylene is sturdy, can take a decent smack, and feels nicely weighted. Felling is good in hand, but guard becomes loose very easily as the mounting method (with the elastic band) will not hold in place for medium sparring. Seems to be intended for very light sparring only...

Solid practical single handed sword trainer, should be advertised as a sidesword/saber trainer however.
