Mini Helmet, Greek Hoplite Version Brass

The mini-helmet is a great gift for any modern day warrior by itself or companion piece to compliment the rudis. A Rudis was a gift to a gladiator for a special achievement. This signified his release from a slave to a freeman. Our Rudis is an excellent and unique give for someone who has completed service in the military, retired, or completed an academic achievement.

We can engrave a corporate logo, military insignia, and/or text in a variety of fonts. Email instructions to: [email protected] and include order number.

NOTE: Helmet is not engraved. Only plasti-brass ring on stand is engraved.

Expedited Shipping
We will hold $15 over and above the shipping amount if your order is due 7 days or less from the order date. This will expedite the process and eliminate the extra time to track down additional funds for fast shipping IF NEEDED.

Graphics
If we do not have the image on file, a one-time setup fee is required. The cost will vary based upon complexity of the image.

BLANK
If you'd like just the helmet and stand, with no engraving, please TELL US! We will not process the order without emailed instructions. A note can also be made in the order comments.

Only the Emperor could grand a Gladiator his freedom. That freedom could be obtained if the Gladiator bravely distinguished himself in a particular fight or if he had fulfilled his contract. The symbol of freedom given to a Gladiator was a wooden sword called a Rudis.

EVOCATUS was the Latin term for a soldier in the Roman Army who had served out his time and obtained a discharge.
