4 of 5 Great sword, needs a longer grip November 13, 2020

I want to give this saber 5 stars, because it's almost perfect. But the grip is too short. It is uncomfortable and hard to keep a proper grip while sparring.
With no gloves it feels fine. But I like my fingers Not being broken, so I Always wear big ol' lobster claws. You can still fence reasonably well, but that shell pushes your hand down, cramps your pinky against the protrusion on the bottom, and you cant maintain a good grip. That is my only gripe.
If the grip was just One inch longer, this would easily be a 5-star rating. The blade has great flex, a decent curve, very light, awesome style, construction top notch.
The strong knuckle bow is fantastic, but the Heavies would fit better if it was just 1-2mm further forward. And I really like the shape and style of the grip, but it's just too short for a protected hand.
Unfortunately, I probably won’t be able to use this sword very much because I can't hold it comfortably with SPES Heavies.

Very impressed with the amount of flex in the blade. Sabre handles very well and construction is solid.
