Good protection and works well without a jacket

Great for small arms
I tried the regular-length ones from Spes first; due to my small arms, the movement was inhibited at my wrist and elbows.

Most Excellent
I also have the Red Dragon forearms. These are so much better.

great
These are perfect coupled with the SPES heavy gloves for smaller forearms/wrists. The shorter length is nice in that it covers the most-hit areas (mid forearm) but doesn't inhibit wrist or elbow motion. Extra tip - I leave them strapped and pull them on over the top of my AP pro jacket, saves time
