Excellent accessory for the PBT Warrior Mask May 10, 2017

The Back of Head Protector is very well designed, gives great protection, and is designed to easily be taken off for cleaning. It stays in place great when sparing and does not impair vision at all. This will definitely not fit any mask other than the mask it is specifically designed for as the Warrior Mask is much longer than a standard fencing mask. All around a great product.

Makes your bubble head even bigger! April 28, 2017

The back of the head protector isn't very stiff.  A good hit and you will feel it.  Not that you get hit back there often, but solid hits can happen and I fear this would be inadequate in such a case.

Also, the foam they use (a type of open cell foam) does more for thermal retention properties and bulk than it does for reducing impacts.  If you are going to add foam to the outside of your mask, at least make it foam that would help minimize impacts instead of just providing insulation.  I would make a head protector myself before buying this again.... although for $60, it would be hard to beat that price considering it would probably take a few hours to make.
