Messer: Recently there has been some excellent steel replicas made of this design.  I got to handle one and felt that this was my next weapon to produce.  The quick strong blade makes this a deadly cutting weapon against an unarmoured opponent. 

We went all out on designing this messer.  The blade is our exclusive impact grade hickory. Inspected and select for straight tight grain. The scales are made out of walnut and inlayed into the handle.  We hand sand and taper the blade to get the COG within 5" of the guard.  This is well within reason for this type of blade.  The blade is shaped with a cutting edge and clip point.  The back edge being squared.  It is quick, light and deadly. 

We've made a knuckle guard on this blade so that makes it left or right handed.  Right handed is standard.  Please mention that on your order if you want a left handed one.
