Little stiff January 23, 2018

The sword handles well and fits in the hand decently, however it is a little to stiff for me to feel comfortable sparring someone with it. Barely flexes at all. I have been happy with using it for pell work and slow drilling though

This thing is a Monster December 8, 2017
Reviewer: Jim Howard from Arlington, VA United States
I picked up the Type XIV as I was super enthusiastic when it was first announced earlier this year, and it was finally in stock. The price point is amazing for this thing, as it has the right amount of weight to teach control, the ergonomics to be manageable, and the blade actions are much more aggressive than most of the other arming swords of its class. Its fit and finish were amazing, and moreover it handled Exactly how I hoped. An amazingly affordable option for those getting into Sword and Buckler, or those just looking for a great price single-handed weapon trainer.

BUY THIS IF THEY HAVE IT.

The sword is well-balanced my only complaint is the handle is not made for my large hands. But the sword it’s easy to wield and is a dream to own.It handles very well with blade on blade contact. There is a decent amount of flex when it comes to you to use a point. I’m going to have to attach a bird blunt or something similar to soften the blow for my dueling partners but overall in very well pleased with the weapon and encourage anyone to buy one.
