5 of 5 No more need for mouthpiece i guess March 27, 2024

I'm relatively new to HEMA so I can't say I understand much in equipment, but my coach says that the mask is good, and one other thing I noticed is that extruded mask mesh does work (comapring to my clubs public masks), so no more waffle marks on the face after sparring sessions and I feel like I don't have to worry about keeping my teeth safe since the mask handles hits pretty well

4 of 5 Replacing after 4 years December 15, 2023
Reviewer: Sleeping Hedgehog from Austin, TX
I bought this mask in 2019 with the back of the head protection. It has done me well for 4 years, but the rivets holding the inner strap on have broken, so I am replacing it. It will definitely make sure your head stays safe. I have been clobbered while wearing it, and felt nothing. Its also nice to know that you have an extra few inches of steel preventing an accidental back of the head it.

Other than rivets breaking after a time, which is a continual problem with HEMA equipment in general, note that the mask plus back of the head protection is heavy, and you will want to keep your neck in good health. I have had a few issues straining my neck. Who is to say if a heavy mask contributed to it? Any way, race car drivers and foot ball players do neck work outs and I have benefited from these exercises as well.  I am also trying a lighter mask this time around, though the decision not to just replace my old warrior mask with a new one was difficult.

5 of 5 This thing is a BEAST July 27, 2023

Like the title states. This helmet is effing awesome, its reinforced so even your 280lb cousin thrusting you in the face at 700mph isn't going to hurt.

5 of 5 Sooo comfortable! January 31, 2023
Reviewer: Pavel Filippov from Richmond, BC Canada
I was on the fence of getting masks from this brand, but this reinforced one is very well made. Not needing the back of the head protector for most sparring situations, eg. not getting as hot in the process was making the experience a lot more enjoyable! Product is very recommended.

4 of 5 Its a bit tight, but works well. June 20, 2022
Reviewer: Nicholas Yehl
As the title says its a bit tight with the back of the head plate I have on it. That said it works well. The center ridge of the mask deflects strikes well. When I get hit the mask doesn't rattle my head around which os excellent. Overall it's pretty good. I just wish it was a tad bit bigger cause it gives me pressure headaches. I bought a size 2 hoping this wouldn't be an issue.
