SPES Trinity Integrated Mask Overlay

The Trinity mask overlay with integrated occipital protection is a technologically advanced product. The front and sides of mask were inspired by hoods used in medieval times.

The overlay should fit all commonly used fencing mask models.

*** Sizing note: We recommend purchasing one size larger than your mask to ensure a good fit.
Example: An Absolute Force mask size Medium will require a SPES Overlay size Large. ***

See Sizing tab for more information.

Had to force my mask in just a little bit, but the Overlay provides a great deal of security for our sparring matches

Great materials, snug fit, and sound protection January 13, 2017
Reviewer: Jon Makar from Winnipeg, MB Canada
The materials used are of excellent quality, and the stitching is top notch. The padding on the side and back of the head is not overly thick, but provides excellent protection against hard Zornhaus, especially the rigid plastic lames on the back of the head. Medium speed thrusts (All we use are masks and impact gloves) against the plastic lame-lined throat protection (backed by the 350N bib of the AF HEMA mask) result in very little discomfort, as the plastic lames remain rigid under the force of the thrust, and cause the tip of the federschwert to glance away from the throat toward the sides. The Large SPES overlay fits perfectly over the Medium AF mask, just like it says in the description! The only minor flaw that I can think of is that it is slightly uncomfortable to raise my arms up into the Ochs ward, but this discomfort barely causes any actual hindrance in my performance.
