great practice swords, esp if you don't have full protective gear. The folks at Purpleheart were always helpful and quick to respond to any questions I had

Can barely fit medium red dragon glove in here October 21, 2015

I tried this model at a meet and I had to grab the hilt and punch my knee to wedge my hand in there when wearing red dragon glove.

Was pretty funny, but really not too safe considering you have no way to drop it if your arm gets twisted a nasty direction.

A bit too floppy to be used against blackfencer nylon blades, I've seen it 'crush' guards too easily as it just bends out of the way. Consider the other side of this - it's a lot safer as well if you are fighting people without the full compliment of HEMA gear.
