Japanese White Oak
Bokken/Bokuto: Made with traditional Shiro Kashi (Japanese white
oak) and finished with tung oil, this is a very high quality version of a standard general purpose
bokken design. It has a blunt tip and oval shape. 40 1/2
inches overall length, balance point 7.5 inches from Tanto line, 1.3
lbs total weight. This has the balance and feel of
a real katana with the ability to safely train with wood. You will get hundreds more training hours than
with the common
cheap red oak version of this weapon. This product will fit
very well in our saya. Why
Hickory vs. Japanese White Oak? Tsubas:
Add
an optional plastic ($2.50) or leather ($5.00) tsuba.
